The SCSD Board of Education put Proposition SCSD on the April 8, 2025 ballot. Proposition SCSD is a no-tax-rate increase bond issue that would provide $90 million to improve and maintain our school facilities without raising the current property tax rate.

The Parents as Teachers program is designed for families with children prenatal through five years of age. Services include developmental screenings, home visits and group connections events for all families. These services are free to district residents.

We house the Lewis and Clark Career Center for our five partner St. Charles County school districts. Lewis and Clark provides students a rigorous, supportive, and meaningful career and technical education program designed to meet the needs of our community.

Since 1992 the Foundation for the School District of the City of St. Charles has been fulfilling a dream - to encourage classroom innovation throughout our school district.

A hearing will be held at 5:45pm, September 11, 2025 at 400 North Sixth Street, St. Charles, Missouri, at which time citizens may be heard on the property tax rates proposed to be set by the St. Charles R-VI School District. The tax rates are set to produce the revenue required by the budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025.
